Our stay at the Landis was an absolute delight. This was our first trip to Taipei and we could not have selected a better hotel. Every member of staff was friendly whilst being professional and courteous. From the moment we booked in we were spoiled by the attention we received. There was nothing we needed, or could have needed, that was not available or made available. The hotel food was excellent. The hotel is located in a busy area with plenty of local low cost restaurants and eating places. Free WiFi made communications easy. The lifts were speedy even in busy times of day. Check out was fast and accurate and on departure we were made to feel like we were departing friends. This is definately our base for our future regular trips to Taipei.
We have stayed at some of the best world business hotels and this is good as any and better than most - even those at three times the cost.. One very, very minor gripe was that there was powdered milk for tea and coffee in sachets in the 'drinks' tray, but a request to houskeeping and within a few minutes fresh milk was in the refrigerator. Other than that it is impossible to think of anything to criticise.

Staff are friendly and helpful. The lady who attended to me during check-in coincidentally helped with the check-out and she rememebered my name. One of the valet attendent helped guide our taxi driver to a place we want to go as the taxi driver was not so familiar.
Personally, I find the breakfast area to be slightly dim. It's a start of a fresh new day, so it should be brighter. But I am not that bothered as I would very much prefer not to take breakfast and sleep in.

Fantastic place, excellent staff with good customer service. Favourable location, sumptuous and marvellous breakfast with different options from Asian to Western. Location very close to the park in the back, and the Zhongshan District of Taipei which offers travellers a wide range of food outlets. Also, to the nearest Orange Line MRT stop.

Very friendly and attentive staff! They all went the extra mile. English is no problem. Excellent Chinese Restaurant. Location: Central. Close to mrt Station and Songshan City-Airport. Worth while to explore the streets just around the hotel: full of local flavor, great and inexpensive food, quality teas, massages, playground for children.

The service is excellent. Every staff will answer your questions with smiles and have a nice heart.
However, the food there is not quite good. The twin suite is way too small and is hard to hold two big guys. Even for girls the room is not big enough compared to its price.

I have been there the second time - we always use this hotel while visiting our distributors in Taipei. Everybody speaks english (or at least they try), everyboday is really friendly, fast. I like this hotel very much - even though the price is a little high I would say its worth it. If the sun is out the roof top is a nice place to catch some sun - if you like the heat. Only weird thing is that you have cameras everywhere even on the roof top while catching sun. The gym looks professional as well. The breakfast is nice, I wouldnt say its the best but its nice. The rooms I stayed in where clean, they offer cable internet as well as Wifi, connection is pretty good, I was even able to facetime with my friend in St. Petersburg Russia. The only part that i really dont like is that they are no Star Alliance Parter so I cannot get any miles :)
As mentioned, it is a little disturbing that you have cameras everywhere (not in your room) :) - but some people might like it as they are all about security and feeling safe.

I liked staff at the door and the reception . I liked the TOTO seat on the POT
Rooms are very small compare to other 5 star in Taipei and Hotel is OLD now . It is totally cut off from the action areas .
